Rasquera is a typical Catalan village situated in the foothills of the Sierra Cardo in the Tarragona province, situated in a spectacular landscape. With the River Ebro cutting through the nearby mountains and views of the Templar Castle at Miravet. 

The old quarter is delightful to explore with its maze of ancient narrow, cobbled streets and arches.

There are adequate amenities for holidaymakers, with shops, bars, wonderful bakeries selling crusty bread for your breakfast, a restaurant and as with many inland towns in Spain, Rasquera has a municipal swimming pool, which is open through July and August; somewhere to cool off during the balmy summer months.
